An Introduction
I wake up each morning ravenous, don't you?
Not for food, food is easy. I'm hungry for everything else. Sometimes I'm hungry
for what didn't happen yesterday but mostly I'm "wanting" what will happen, this
afternoon or tomorrow? Be honest, you know the feeling, too. It's about the
delightful anticipation of everything. It's about the succulent bits of "Thought
Cake" we consume when no one is looking, listening? It's that glance that halts
your world, somewhere between your lips and that second cup of coffee? Or the
brief scent of a passing man or woman that sets your mind reeling even if you'd
never recognize them again. I think about these things, don't
you?
This place is a crossroad. This is where the intimate
self and the everyday life collide, and recognize each other. Is it real or is
it a fiction? Are there facts or merely fantasies? Well this just may be the
place where you learn to no longer care about such things. Come along and
see.
